Used Fiat and Alfa £1.5m
July 28th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
BCA has just converted over 200 Fiat and Alfa Romeo cars, bringing in revenue of a hefty £1.5m.
The monster sale was the Italian makes’ largest of the year, and took place at BCA Measham.
And it was quite a line-up of cars:
• 12 Fiat 500s – averaging 107.3% CAP Clean
• 100 Grande Punto – averaging 102% CAP Clean
• 16 Fiat Bravo – averaging 102% CAP Clean
Best-performing car of the day was also a Fiat, with a red 2007 Grande Punto making nearly 130% of CAP Clean!
The Alfas also did well; GTs averaged 115%, while the 147 and 159 averaged 106%. Indeed, nearly EVERY car beat the CAP values.
It’s all proof of the brands’ growing appeal in the used car market, said BCA’s Fiat Group account director, Paul Dunn.
‘To achieve over 102% of CAP Clean is a significant achievement, even in the current strong market.’
Fiat’s remarketing man, Simon Wheeler, praised the BCA staff in making the event ‘another unqualified success.
‘We were delighted with the performance of our products at the sale, making this the fourth month running we have achieved exceptional results in a major closed auction environment.
‘The values achieved were very impressive, reflecting the ever growing demand for Fiat Group product in the used car market.’
