MG on social media

MG has joined the ranks of car firms on Twitter and Facebook in a new brand push of social media.
The Birmingham firm has started up a page on Facebook, and is also now Tweeting all the latest news.
It’s all to help gear up for the launch of the MG6, MG Motor UK’s marketing manager, Peter Brooking, explained.
‘Social networking is not just a great way for fans to keep in contact with what’s happening but it’s interactive so people can post us their thoughts and opinions.
‘With Facebook and Twitter we can reach a bigger audience than even our company website can reach.’
Uniquely, MG also promises a personal response to all who sign up for the Twitter or Facebook pages. We put this to the test, but have yet to see a response…
Question is, how many people will it take to inundate them?
