£11,995 scrap Coupe
July 9th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
HYUNDAI has brought sporty style to the scrappage deal sector – with a bargain-priced Coupe.
It has cut £5035 off the list price of its two-door Coupe, bringing the price down to £12,995.
But, for scrappage-eligible customers, this is further cut, to £11,995!
That’s despite it being a 2.0-litre model, with leather seats, 17-inch alloys, climate control and cruise control.
Hyundai boasts the list price is over £2,500 less than when the first-generation Coupe was launched back in 1996. It’s certainly a deal that’s opened Car Dealer Magazine’s eyes.
By how much, we wonder, will it boost Hyundai’s already-booming scrappage order book, which has recently topped 15,000?
