Dealer’s Thai takeaway

PORTSMOUTH car dealer Paul Taylor used BCA’s Live Online auction service to bag two motors from Blackbushe…
… despite bidding from the border of Thailand and Laos!
The eager car dealer didn’t let the mere issue of 6000 miles get between him and his two sought-after cars. The power of mobile internet gave him the power to do the deals.
It’s the most graphic illustration yet of the ‘buy from anywhere’ nature of online car auctions, says BCA.
And this convenience, adds the firm, is behind rates of growth currently running at 300 percent a year. That equates to 15,000 cars sold, in over 1000 car auctions – netting more than £3 million.
BCA also reveals that EVERY national fleet incorporate Live Online into their branded programmes – vendors such as GE Capital, BMW Group, Inchcape Fleet and Lex reckon they sell over 40 percent of their models via the service.
The online car auction revolution continues…
Sales up for over half of dealers
