Subaru winner buys
November 13th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
CLASSIC FM listener Chris Flynn was the lucky winner of a Subaru Legacy in a competition 11 years ago.
More than a decade on, it’s time to change – and this time he’s paid for his new car.
What’s more, it’s a Subaru car dealer that’s finally got him to open his wallet! Derek Slack Motors has just handed over a brand-new, err, Subaru Legacy.
His free extended test drive convinced him. ‘In 11 years of ownership not once did I have a single problem with the car, so when I heard about the government scrappage scheme, and felt like changing the car, there was only one option – another Subaru Legacy.’
So it was the death warrant for the old one, and a brand-new Sports Tourer order form put in by the Middleborough car dealer.
‘Mr. Flynn was very happy with his previous Legacy and we’re delighted that he has chosen another.
‘Following the opening of our new Subaru dealership in March, we anticipate many more people in the Middleborough area will follow Mr. Flynn’s lead and take advantage of their new All-Wheel Drive specialists – something which should prove very timely with winter just around the corner.’
Flynn didn’t even need a test drive. ‘A newer version of the same model was the only new car choice for me.’
A dream customer. At last.
