Wigan Peugeot sale
June 24th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
RICHARD Rhodes Peugeot in Wigan has been sold to Stoneacre Motor Group as the firm ups its Peugeot holdings.
It is Stoneacre’s third Peugeot acquisition in as many years, and takes its total locations to 25. These represent 11 different car brands.
The sale was achieved through ASE’s Dealermatch service. Transaction manager there, David Kendrick, said: ‘From recent activity it appears that a number of groups are back on the acquisition trial, with an increasing number of long established dealers like Richard Rhodes Peugeot looking to exit the sector.
‘I believe this will be one of many single site dealers being bought out by the larger groups as consolidation in the sector continues.’
Car Dealer Magazine will bring you news of them as they flow through…
