SEAT used sales success

SEAT Used Cars sold 915 cars in May – ‘by some distance’ a used car sales record for the sporty brand.
This, reckons SEAT, proves the growing importance of used car sales to the UK car dealer network.
David Ardern is SEAT’s used car manager. He said the May used car figures ‘very clearly demonstrate the growing appeal of SEAT to both new and used car buyers.
‘At a time when, for most people, every penny counts, the simple fact is that SEAT’s used car offering is showing itself to be incredible value for money.’
During May, SEAT cracked another record, too – by conducting its largest ever closed auction. 200-plus SEATs were offered to ‘dozens’ of UK car dealers.
All models at the Fleet Auction Group Leicester ‘Super Sale’ were late-plate, low-mileage, approved used stock. Cars much in demand, according to the network.
The conversion rate was 100 percent. And average CAP Clean values were beaten by an average of 105 percent.
‘The appeal of these cars is clear, which is why our dealer network is so keen to bid for the very best used examples,’ added Arden.
