SEAT drivers in hot seat
SEAT drivers are guilty of the worst car maintenance record in the country, says a surprise new survey.
Over two in three admit they never check their oil as often as is recommended.
This makes the staggering 71.4 percent total the perfect candidates to target for aftersales!
Jaguar and Volkswagen drivers are almost as bad – again, over two thirds fail to follow basic oil check schedules.
What’s more, a total of 5 million motorists never check their oil, and over half never conduct a one-a-month check. The findings were revealed as National Oil Check Week nears.
Drivers you probably already are seeing in your aftersales department probably own a Lexus; two in five check their oil every week.
Nearly three quarters of Alfa Romeo drivers conduct monthly checks, too.
Next week’s National Oil Check Week could be just the time for you to start some canny promotion techniques for all these drivers…
