SEAT Approved new stock
SEAT Approved used car dealers will see their sources of cars bolstered by a new deal with a big auctioneer.
Fleet Auction Group will host 12 closed SEAT car dealer auctions, each trading up to 140 cars.
The deal is an expansion of a previous 50:50 contract with Manheim – now, FLAG will host all the auctions at its Coalville HQ.
Used car manager David Adrern said it was an impressive performance from FLAG that encouraged SEAT to extend the deal. ‘SEAT UK has had excellent support from FLAG over the past year and the conversion rates and residuals achieved have been exceptional.
The post-sale benefits have also impressed the firm. ‘Add the high level of personal service we receive and they were clearly our first choice as remarketing partners for 2010.’
For those worrying that FLAG only has the one site, says the firm’s sales director Guy Pearce, fear not. ‘We always achieve a good attendance from around the country, obviating the need for multiple regional sales.
‘Being close to two airports means we regularly attract SEAT dealers from all areas of the UK mainland and Ireland.’
Indeed, it was at a FLAG event this year that 30 SEAT car dealers bid to buy the first used current-shape Ibizas – averaging 115 percent of CAP Clean!
