Scrappage: get in now!

SCRAPPAGE cash is running out, motors.co.uk warns car buyers – which is urging they buy sooner rather than later.
155,000 people have already taken advantage of the discounts, says the car buying website.
However, with the rush for 59-reg September plates, that cash could run out by NEXT MONTH!
Marketing manager Katie Armitage said ‘the scrappage scheme has seen an uplift in new car sales – in fact, July saw a rise in new car sales for the first time in over a year.
‘With the new plate being introduced in September, and limited scrappage funds available, the time has never been better to search for a new car.’
The industry remains split on just when the scrappage cash will run out – but is sure it’s going to be sooner rather than later…
Some dealers may well find this is worthwhile mentioning during negotiations with indecisive buyers!
