Scottish bargains online
June 19th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
SCOTTISH Motor Auctions has gone online – with the launch of a brand new internet trading service.
The SMA Live facility opens up the Livingston, Kinross, Newcastle and Leeds used car bargains to everyone.
Car dealers can view full exterior and interior images, condition and inspection reports, vehicle information and, best of all, a live feed of the auction – compete with sound.
‘While there’s no substitute for experiencing the cut and thrust of an auction room, our new system comes a close second!’ said SMA’s Bob Anderson.
‘We have answered the demands of our regular customers wanting the option of being able to bid online, and the requests from those buyers throughout the UK who find it logistically difficult to attend our auctions, but recognise we offer a huge array of great cars for sale.’
Anderson added that anyone in the UK can view and bid for SMA Group cars. Though how you make delivery from Kinross to Southampton economic is another matter…
