Renault dealers raise cash for charityRENAULT Retail Group has presented a cheque for £1,160 to children’s charity Banardos, following a car launch fundraiser.

A themed weekend was held, to launch the new Megane. Staff dressed in retro gear – turning up for work as Go-Go girls, hippies, punks, glam rockers. And Elvis.

‘We were delighted to see that more than 200 of them took part,’ said Renault Retail MD, Ian Plummer.

‘Seeing all the effort they made was fantastic. Each and everyone who participated had taken the utmost care over their costumes, and their efforts created a great atmosphere.’

The ‘remember when’ theme cleverly complemented the Megane’s launch TV and press adverts. Renault Retail donated £5 for every staff member who took part.

Renault London West’s local business unit also held a networking event. This raised a further £70.
