Pinewood updates DMS
September 6th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
CAR dealers can now enjoy improved customer service levels thanks to software upgrades from Pinewood.
The DMS provider has just launched a range of updated dealer-to-manufacturer software.
These cover posh brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Volkswagen and Volvo – and help increase communication levels between Pinewood’s Pinnacle DMS and each car makers’ own systems.
MD Neville Briggs says this will increase customer service levels, dealer productivity and profitability.
‘Effective integration is essential to modern dealer management software. If the DMS cannot work seamlessly with manufacturer systems, then the potential benefits to the dealer are severely compromised.
‘These latest improvements have all been made very much with the fundamentals of dealer performance in mind – service, profitability and productivity.’
Car dealers using Pinnacle don’t even have to do anything in order to benefit from the developments. As it is hosted by Pinewood and used by dealers over the internet, software upgrades will be made automatically.
Do you use such ‘software-as-a-service’ solutions in your car dealer – and if so, how do they make your life easier?
