Peugeot dealer RCZ first

GATEWAY Peugeot in Crewe, Cheshire, will be the first to preview the RCZ coupe ahead of it going on sale in May.
The invitation-only event will be held on Monday April 12th, with around 30 or 40 of the dealership’s customers due to attend.
The car is being taken on tour around the UK by Peugeot, driven by professional Peugeot drivers, and Gateway Peugeot is the first stop.
Alex Walker, assistant sales manager, said ‘Peugeot have given us some helpful guidelines to remind us of the high calibre of the car, and for that to be shown in everything we do with it, but we are calling on our own database for guests.
‘We have been in business for 28 years, so we are well known in the area.’
He hopes that the guests will spread the word about both the car and the dealership, bringing business in the future. The guest list includes the local head of the Chambers of Commerce, as well as local business owners.
The dealership has already sold three RCZs, despite the car not being on sale yet, and Walker predicts a further four or five sales on the night. ‘Last time we did a launch evening, it was for the 207 and the response was great.’ he added.
The launch of the RCZ coincides with Peugeot’s 200th birthday, and it will be the first model with a new badge, symbolising a new start for the marque.
