Official: Lexus hybrid A3
September 1st, 2009 by Richard Aucock
LEXUS has unveiled the first official image of its posh Audi A3-rivalling five-door hatch concept.
The LF-Ch concept will be shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in a few weeks.
That’s when we’ll get more details of the BMW 1 Series alternative, which is expected to hit dealer showrooms in 2010.
Conventional engines are expected to be offered too, giving the firm a more affordable entry point into the premium sector.
But the range-topper will be the sector’s first hybrid offer. This will continue Lexus’s brand distinction of offering hybrid models of every car it sells.
The five-door body includes ‘hidden’ rear doors, which are likely to make it through to production.
Lexus says the GS and LS will be shown in mild facelift form, too. There’s also a new ‘F-Sport’ pack for the IS.
Car Dealer Magazine will bring you all the news from the Lexus stand, along with vital new Lexus hatch – a model that Lexus dealers cannot wait for…
