NISSAN has introduced fixed-price servicing, offering its customers dealer standards of work at independent garage prices.

Nissan dealerships’ fixed-price servicing costs from £109 for cars which have passed their third birthday, and Nissan’s ‘You+ Nissan Care’ commitment means customers are entitled to free RAC roadside assistance cover and a courtesy car.

The Japanese firm is so confident customers won’t find a better offer it will also price-match any written quote within 10 miles of the dealership.

Three fixed-price servicing packages are available called Gold, Silver or Bronze, with the Bronze costing from £109 which includes a 20-point check plus oil and filter change. In addition, it includes a road test to check the operation of areas such as brakes, suspension and steering.

Customers can upgrade to the Silver package, costing from £169 and adding more checks plus a new air filter and spark plugs, while for £60 extra the Gold package includes everything plus six more check points and the renewal of brake fluid, replacement of coolant and the fitting of a new fuel filter.

Nissan is also allowing customers to benefit from RAC breakdown cover which alone could cost around £90.
