New scrap lead tool

TECHNOLOGY expert Autotorq.com has launched an online tool to maximise new car scrap profits.
Car dealers will now be able to easily tell potential customers whether THEIR car is eligible under the scheme – and the exact cars on sale at the car dealer which qualify.
The tool is fast and simple to use, says Autotorq.com. It generates a vehicle enquiry from the interested customer to the car dealer, which it can use to begin the sales process.
Autotorq are timing this to launch immediately after any expected announcement in Wednesday’s Budget – giving the company a real competitive advantage.
It also gives car dealers an immediate means of fully exploiting the new car scrappage scheme.
Sales in Germany have boomed on the back of a scrappage scheme there – they’re up over 40 percent, and most car dealers are inundated with demand.
Ensuring they’re well placed to fully benefit will be the priority of car dealers in the UK next week.
‘Our clients on the continent, in those countries that already have a scrappage incentive scheme in place have seen a significant surge in business, with increases of around 80 per cent in web site traffic and a 50 per cent increase in leads generated,’ said Stewart Niblock, Chief Operating Officer of autotorq.com.
