New head at Bentley
September 3rd, 2010 by Richard Aucock
BENTLEY has announced the mutual-consent departure of sales & marketing board member Stuart McCullough.
Alasdair Stewart has been appointed in his place, as of today.
It’s a return to Bentley for Stewart after Stuart’s departure (see how it could become confusing..?!). He moves from a board position for sales at Bugatti.
Stewart is a Bentley long-timer. He joined Rolls-Royce in 1994, initially in marketing, before becoming Bentley North America regional director in 1998.
Bentley Motors chairman Dr Franz-Josef Paefgen said: ‘It is a pleasure to welcome Alasdair back to the Bentley family.
‘Having worked with him at Bugatti, I know he has the necessary experience, ability and enthusiasm for the high luxury automotive sector to which can be added his undoubted knowledge of the Bentley brand.
‘I am sure he will settle straight back into the Crewe team and provide the leadership in sales and marketing that will inspire our dealers and customers alike.’
He will now commence overseeing all Bentley’s sales and marketing business – including relations with the Bentley car dealer network.
