New online franchise
July 8th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
TRADEMYMOTOR has launched to UK car dealers in a keynote presentation at Birmingham’s NEC.
The online car buying franchise enables the resale of stock bought directly from the public.
Attending the Birmingham presentation to hear more were representatives from many large dealer groups, including Arnold Clark and Jardine Motors.
But those interested had better be quick, they were told on the night: there are only a limited number of franchises UK-wide… but more than 19,000 car dealers in the UK!
Details of the franchise system were also revealed on the night. It currently costs £12,500 per region, and gives the franchisee a ‘sophisticated online portal linked to all relevant databases such as DVLA and CAP, as well as various functions to complete comprehensive appraisals and quoting.
‘Even a customer arranging an appointment to sell their car can be scheduled automatically online using criteria set by the franchisee.’ Perfect,it was explained, for those who want to set dedicated times to deal with this aspect of the business – or, indeed, for those who wish to trade part-time.
Bold claims were made, too: rewards were promised to traders ‘within three weeks’, through acquiring quality stock ‘below book’.
Interested? Well, was the general message at the NEC debut, you’d best be quick…
