New Micra at Geneva
NISSAN will launch its all new supermini Micra replacement at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
The firm has confirmed the covers will be pulled off the new ‘global compact car’ at the show.
Designed to be sold across the globe, the all-new car has been designed to offer maximum value for money. Production in Asia will lower build costs and ensure Nissan can retail it at a competitive price.
Sales will begin in the autumn, replacing the current-shape Micra whose UK production facilities will be absorbed by the funky new Juke.
Nissan says the new Micra has been designed with weight-saving in mind, which will provide big boosts to economy and emissions.
Car Dealer Magazine has already seen a pre-production design mule, and can confirm existing Micra drivers are not in for a huge surprise.
You’ll have to come back on Geneva press day to see what the final production car is like!
