VRA new member goal
August 11th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
THE Vehicle Remarketing Association has recruited its 35th new member just 5 months after launching.
Enterprise Rent A Car is the latest to join up.
This means the total number of vehicles handled by VRA members now exceeds a key goal of 1.5 million every year!
Representing the £9 billion remarketing sector, interest in the VRA has been significant. Other recent new members include Peugeot, Bluecycle, SMA Group and Vauxhall.
So what’s on the agenda for the next few months at the VRA? Well, a Best Practice guide to ‘end of contract charges’ is due in the coming weeks. There’s also a special VRA group to offer advice on vehicle provenance.
The VRA also delivered the remarketing section during the SMMT’s International Summit.
Chairman John Davies said the VRA is ‘starting to make excellent progress in a number of key areas.
‘This association is all about a broad group of members, with common interests in remarketing, all working together to improve standards and attract new talent to this very important area of the automotive industry.’
