Mondial and BMW

BMW has marked its 25-year association with Mondial Assistance, by awarding the firm a new contract.
Mondial will continue to provide pan-European breakdown assistance cover for BMW car owners, via its distinctive branded silver BMW 5 Series Tourings.
The recovery firm reckons it can fix 84 percent of problems on the road. Car dealers come into play when it can’t – Mondial will tow the car to the nearest BMW service dealer for repairs.
As it operates 365 days a year, this is why some BMW car dealers have arrived into work with an unfamiliar model waiting on the forecourt!
New developments mean this is more of a rarity, though. BMW ConnectedDrive allows operations experts to diagnose the car problem over the telephone – often fixing it there and then.
Where the problem can’t be fixed, the nearest dealer will be alerted as to the full details of any necessary fix, saving vital minutes in diagnostic time.
BMW’s Josef Hillenbrand reckons ‘our service is unmatched by any of our competitors, and key to this is that our roadside assistance experts are trained by us and are best placed to identify and repair any defect.
‘The speed and efficiency of assistance is one of the most important elements of achieving the strongest levels of customer satisfaction.’
Mondial is the ideal accompaniment to the service excellence of BMW car dealers, added Hillenbrand. ‘By working with Mondial Assistance, we have been able to match our quality of service through the BMW Mobile Service.
