Merseyside gets Kia
July 18th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
KIA has expanded to the St Helens area courtesy of a new car dealer site from growing group Chapelhouse.
The group already runs 6 multi-franchise locations in the St Helens, Warrington and Southport area – with 7 car makers represented.
So why Kia? ‘We’ve been monitoring Kia’s continued growth and are delighted to have been offered the opportunity to represent this exciting franchise in the St Helens area,’ said Chris Layton, group operations manager for Chapelhouse.
‘We will ensure all prospective new and existing Kia customers in and around St Helens receive an outstanding level of customer care as they would expect by dealing with the 4th largest car manufacturer in the world.’
The facility will provide a 4-car showroom, aftersales, accident repair and MOT facilities. It is staffed by a big team of 50, which Layton is confident he will lead to offering a professional and friendly experience.
Situated in Canal Street, the new dealer is already open, and primed for retailing the forthcoming new Sportage compact SUV.
