Mazda rebrands used

MAZDA has rebranded its franchise dealer used car scheme, which is now known as Mazda Approved Used Cars.
The rebranding has been driven by more customers being willing to buy online.
It replaces ‘Zoom Zoom +’ and the majority of the Mazda UK dealer network has already signed up.
Mazda says it has invested big in web-based technology, which allows used car to be searched using mobile devices such as iPhones.
This is because, said used car marketing manager Michel Steward, ’25 percent of all web browsing originates via a mobile device and this trend is growing.
‘Additionally, for many people, mobile phones and iPhones provide access to websites so it is equally vital that our stock of used cars is accessible from such hand-held devices and consumers can liaise directly with our dealers.’
Mazda has added on finance calculator tools, and upped the interactivity with ample imagery and contact details. For the first time, non=-Mazda cars can also be shown.
All this will help dealers make money, he said. ‘By investing in online technology we are making sure that all used stock is more easily accessed by consumers and thereby strengthening the value of models and generating more sales opportunities for our dealers.’
