Kia Bedford opens
July 1st, 2010 by Richard Aucock
MARSHALL Motor Group has just announced the opening of its second Kia car dealer business in Bedford.
A £300,000 upgrade of its premises on Woburn Road in Bedford will provide facilities for Kia.
Christopher Walkinshaw, business development director of Marshall, said: ‘We are delighted to be extending our relationship with Kia less than a year after we opened our first Kia business.
‘The new facilities we are creating will be good for us and for Kia customers in the area. Our new showroom is in a good location close to the main A421 southern Bedford bypass.’
In the last 16 months, Marshall has added 14 businesses to the Group, bringing the total to 54.
Michael Cole, MD of Kia UK, said: ‘We are delighted that Marshall is opening another new Kia dealership.
‘The partnership has proved successful for us both in Ipswich, and now together we will be offering car buyers in Bedford the same combination of Marshall’s excellent customer service and Kia’s fantastic product quality – all backed by our industry leading 7-year warranty.’
The new facilities should be ready in time for new registrations in September.
