Race with car dealer
July 24th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
LOTUS Silverstone has launched a new profit-generating service that keys into the lucrative trackday market.
The official Lotus-franchised car dealer has introduced a ‘Track Health Check’ – an aftersales service revenue-generator.
It’s being launched with an extra-special deal, too. Book the £50 service for August 26th… and get a free track day!
This session, run between 6-8pm, is available to all Lotus owners, and is being used by the car dealer as a significant promotion to show off its unique nature.
Motors will either get a clean bill of health, or a list of estimates for work that the dealer could benefit from.
It’s the first big call to arms from Silverstone’s newly developing franchise arm. The circuit is looking to expand from its core business of racing, into operations such as selling and selling cars.
Certainly, it’s well-placed. The Lotus car dealer, for example, draws from a five-county pool of customers.
What will they be checking, though? Here, Car Dealer Magazine can give you the entire list…
