London motor show
April 8th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
LONDON will be getting a motor show after all this year – right in the heart of the City’s Docklands!
The Canary Wharf Motorexpo is to once again run between 8-14 June, boasting new cars from major manufacturers.
And it’s a totally FREE event!
Car companies putting their support into the show have made for a glittering list of new car debuts, which include:
• Mercedes-Benz: Full new car lineup
• Saab: New 9-3X
• Land Rover: Full 2010 lineup
• Suzuki: Green new Alto
• BMW: New Z4 UK debut
• Aston Martin: V12 Vantage, DBS Volante
• Jaguar: XFR
Show organisers promise this year’s event will be the biggest yet. With two months to go, big-name support is continuing to grow, meaning extra space has had to be ordered from Canary Wharf.
Following the cancellation of the 2010 ExCeL Motor Show, Car Dealer Magazine will be following this event closely, as we’re sure it will create a positive buzz around new and used cars for car dealers.
It follows a trend we reported on, that the future of the motor show in the UK is in smaller, more targeted events such as these.
See you there!
