Lexus LFA demand drive

January 21st, 2010 by Richard Aucock

lexus-lfa-demand-continuesLEXUS reports formal signs of interest in the mighty LFA supercar already exceed total production.

More than 500 people are close to committing the staggering £336,000 cost of the hand built carbonfibre car.

That exceeds the total number that will be built, ever – and have come in just three months since the car was officially unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show.

Not that this is fazing Lexus. Indeed, the firm says anyone with the cash can still show interest, right up until the middle of March and the close of the Geneva Motor Show.

Only then will the 500 cars be divvied up between the 56 countries across the world where it will go on sale. One of those dealers includes Lexus’ Park Lane outlet in London.

Devshi Varshani, LFA personal liaison manager, said ‘the level of interest we have witnessed reinforces just what an exceptional car the LFA is.

‘Even though few people have even seen the car in the metal, let alone experienced its breathtaking performance, it has quickly achieved the status of a truly rare and highly sought-after machine.’

If you had the cash, would you try to buy a Lexus LFA?
