Kia swaps to 7yr Switch
March 18th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
KIA dealers are to launch a scrappage replacement scheme to save owners trading cars aged 7 years or older.
The 7-year age limit will also help Kia dealers promote the Kia 7 year warranty!
Savings of up to £2000 are on offer – that’s on the Kia Soul, pro cee’d, cee’d SW and cee’d hatchback. For Picantos, Rios and Vengas, the saving is £1500.
That takes Picanto prices under the 7 Year Switch scheme down to £5135.
The scheme works in a similar way to the Government’s scrappage scheme and is open to cars between 7 and 10 years old with a valid MOT certificate. Customers must have owned their cars for at least 6 months.
Michael Cole, MD of Kia, said ‘once again we’re giving more reasons for potential new customers to take a fresh look at Kia.
‘We have exciting new, fuel efficient, safe and high-quality cars in our showrooms across the whole of the UK and every single model is covered by the best new car warranty in Europe – 7 years and 100,000 miles.’
Buyers will have to be quick, though. The offers are only available until 31 March…
• Picanto from £5135
• Rio from £6155
• Soul from £9495
• Venga from £9995
• Cee’d from £10,150
