JCT600 mobile site

Time 6:16 am, June 25, 2012

DEALER JCT600 has made a five figure investment in a new mobile specific website to capture multi-channel customers.

The Yorkshire-based retailer has used the latest technology to ensure that its website can now be viewed in full from any internet enabled phone.

The mobile version provides speedy access and easy navigation as well as enabling users to view pages more easily with less scrolling.

The site also enables mobile users to benefit from the same functionality as the main website such as booking services or test drives online and presenting discount vouchers on mobiles at the dealerships.

‘Research shows that not only are today’s sophisticated consumers carrying out extensive research online, but increasingly they are accessing the internet via mobile devices,’ said Charlotte Murray, digital media manager of JCT600 (pictured).

‘We have seen traffic to our website via mobile phones more than double in the last year, rising to 23 per cent of all visits in April.

‘We recognise that customers browsing on a mobile while out and about want a different, quicker experience. We’ve launched this more concise mobile version of our website to meet these needs for speedy and easy access, focussing on the most popular features such as enabling customers to save favourite used cars, searches or offers.’

Since launching its re-designed website in January 2009, JCT600 has grown its organic traffic to over 86,000 visits a month.
