SEARCHES for 4x4s have rocketed in numbers in the wake of the UK snow, Motors.co.uk have reported.
Searches for 4x4s overall has increased 24 per cent in the last week, according to the website – while demand for some models has increased even more.
Searches for the BMW X3 went up by 54.7 per cent, for example, and the Honda CR-V by 90 per cent. The BMW X5 and Volvo XC90 jumped even more, though – seeing a 135.4 per cent and 189.7 per cent rise respectively.
The biggest increase? Searches for Range Rover models (be they the standard car, Sport or Evoque) – up 282 per cent on last week.
