Hyundai dealer flurry
September 8th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
HYUNDAI has appointed no less than 10 new car dealer franchises, taking its UK-wide coverage to 141.
The Korean brand is on a roll at the moment, following its smash-hit scrappage success… so the double-figure roll-call of appointments is much needed!
Hyundai is now represented by:
• Whitehouse Maidstone Hyundai
• Chorley Hyundai in Blackpool
• Beechdale Hyundai in Derby
• Marshalls Hyundai of Cambridge
• Adam Purves Hyundai in Galashiels
• Tunbridge Wells Hyundai
• Platinum Hyundai in Chippenham
• Keith Garages Hyundai in Aylesbury
• Loders Hyundai in Yeovil
• Benfield Hyundai in Newcastle
The firm promises ALL will be up and running this month – and they’ll all also boast its new corporate look.
Recruits are a mixture of expanding multi-franchise sites, while others are replacing brands such as:
• Chrysler-Jeep
• Subaru
• Vauxhall
• Saab
• Mitsubishi
Hyundai’s network development man Michael Staunton says the prospect of the franchise usually creates good interest.
‘However, over the last few months, this has increased dramatically as prospective dealers see the really strong business proposition that the franchise offers… underpinned by our unique five year unlimited mileage warranty.’
Guy Pigounakis, sales director, added ‘it is no wonder dealers are seeing the benefit of being with Hyundai’
Particularly as there’s more to come…
‘We also have brilliant products coming in 2010, to further enhance the ‘i’ range of cars and ensure a bright future.’
