Hyundai Morris on eBay
HYUNDAI has listed the rare scrappage Morris Minor on eBay after Car Dealer Magazine reported the story.
The car firm not only saved the Morris from the scrapper, it is also agreeing to donate all the eBay auction funds raised to Children In Need!
Generous Hyundai boss Tony Whitehorn sanctioned the deal, after Chelmsford Hyundai contacted the maker about a car that had been brought in to be traded under scrappage.
The car dealer thought it was just too painful to comprehend sending the classic motor to the crusher - and Hyundai agreed.
It bought the car, and is now listing the car for the BBC charity appeal, which kicks off on TV TONIGHT.
