Good garages’ grand

CHICHESTER car garage Motorforce has set a landmark in the Good Garage Scheme – with 1000 testimonials!
This makes Motorforce the first garage to be recommended by so many customers.
Which has naturally delighted director Nick Wells. ‘Two years after joining the Good Garage Scheme, we are still amazed at our customers’ generosity when writing testimonials.
‘They not only complete the questionnaire, but also take the time to write a favourable comment that is individual to their experience.’
The scheme is entirely driven by customer feedback – motorists can ‘vote’ for each garage, using an online five-star rating system. They can also add comments about the service for each garage.
Such social feedback is highly rated by customers, who appreciate its independence. It is this that is helping the scheme thrive.
Nationally, the Good Garage Scheme receives around 12,000 customer feedback forms every month, while member garages that fail to submit any feedbacks are investigated and potentially removed from the scheme.
Andy Shepherd, Good Garage Scheme campaign manager, said: ‘The customer feedback scheme is highly successful in helping us ensure quality service for motorists who use our Good Garage Scheme members.
‘In effect, the scheme is self regulatory, and operates as much for the benefit of garages as it does for customers, highlighting what a good job they are doing and identifying other areas that may need to be improved.
‘The whole system allows us to run an efficient service, with garages adhering to a strict code of practice creating a win, win situation – for garages and customers alike.’
