GALLERY: See new Lexus LFA at Park Lane

LEXUS Park Lane is currently showing the ONLY example of its mighty £300k LFA supercar in the whole of Europe!
Car Dealer Magazine visited the unveiling last week, where the Japanese car firm revealed its exclusive sales process for the 560bhp supercar to us.
In the mould of Mercedes’ exclusive SLR McLaren and Maybach product lines, LFA sales will be handled by a ‘Personal Liaison Manager’ – in this case, long-standing Lexus man Dev Varsani.
Unlike in America, European LFA buyers will be just that – the Stateside, speculator-beating lease scheme is confined to the other side of the pond.
Varsani will be handling all European LFA sales through the Park Lane showroom, London chosen for its cosmopolitan air and Mayfair in particular for its concentration of well-heeled supercar buyers.
Just 500 LFAs will be built too, around a fifth of those projected to be sold in Europe with up to 20 or so expected to find homes in the UK.
Having handed over an initial €25,000, Dev will then be on call personally to buyers as they’re guided through the ordering process. This will include taster drives and the ability to choose paint, trim and other options.
Indeed, each LFA will be built to the individual tastes of the customer, whether that be a custom colour or more track oriented spec for those looking to enjoy the full range of the LFA’s wailing 4.8-litre V10 engine.
Going by the number of camera phones pressed against the glass of the Park Lane showroom last Friday, the LFA’s position as a halo product for the Lexus range is assured…
