PREMIERSHIP footballers are turning to car dealer Clive Sutton to get the Christmas new car look…
… but are doing it on a budget with his new car wrap service.
Car Dealer Magazine was one of the first to see the new service, and now Sutton has released further details.
Prices start from £2,000, which is a big saving on the £10k-plus cost of a posh car resprays. It’s already drawing high-level attention too, with footballer El Hadji Diouf wrapping his Mercedes-McLaren SLR rather than getting a new one.
Why has it taken off? The credit crunch, says Sutton. Usually clients will look to change their motor every couple of years to keep up with the latest trends.
‘However, with people taking a hit during the recession, customers are holding onto their cars for much longer and are seeking cheaper ways of refreshing their vehicles.’
This is why the car dealer has overhauled many new cars – including:
• Pink Lamborghini
• Gunmetal Aston Martin
• White Bentley Continental GTC
It’s all led to Sutton’s Recession Wrap, which includes designs like national flags, cartoon characters and the current vogue for matt finishes.
