Football World Cup tour

HYUNDAI is reminding Europe that it is sponsoring the 2010 FIFA World Cup with 33 special i30 cars.
It is doing this with an around-Europe tour, that has just stopped off at Hyundai Chelmsford.
The liveried cars have been decorated in the 32 flags of the competing nations taking part.
And the other one? No, it isn’t wrapped in the Irish flag, but sports an amalgam of all the national flags combined.
Chelmsford Hyundai owner Bill Cook greeted the big extravaganza yesterday. He’s also chairman of the Hyundai Franchised Dealer Committee, which is gearing up for some big promotional campaigns around next year’s World Cup in South Africa.
‘We’re really delighted that the i30 World Cup tour has come to Chelmsford Hyundai,’ said Cook, ‘and that Hyundai is getting so involved with the event.
‘Of course, I’ll be supporting England next June and hoping that we can bring the cup back home.’
It wasn’t unanimous support for England at Chelmsford Hyundai, though. Ken Lee, president of Hyundai Motor UK, added: ‘Being the official Automotive Partner for such a huge global event is a great honour for Hyundai.’
‘Although I hope England do well, I’ll be supporting South Korea in the finals!’
