Ferrari dealer gets KTM!
June 12th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
DICK Lovett is the latest car dealer to join KTM’s fast-developing UK sales network.
Lovett’s Swindon dealership, which already sells Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche, will now retail the extreme KTM sportscars.
It is exciting news for the car retailer. Edward Lovett, dealer principal at the Swindon site, said: ‘KTM is a very strong motorcycle brand, with a great heritage, and we’re confident that it will grow significantly in the UK as a four-wheel brand.
‘I’m looking forward to working with KTM and the other network partners in the UK, to deliver first-class retail and aftersales service to current and prospective X-BOW customers.’
Lovett’s stature as a top 40 UK dealer group encouraged KTM to sign up. Jeff Lau, KTM X-BOW UK manager, said: ‘To have a UK network partner of the stature of Dick Lovett on board is great news for KTM and the X-BOW.
‘As a heavyweight dealer group, its strengths in premium sportscar retailing dovetail well with our other network partners across the UK, which are particularly strong in niche vehicle and motorsport sectors.’
Lovetts mates it six UK outlets for the £50k KTM in the UK – all of which will handle new car sales, aftersales, service and repair.
