Kitemark sales aid

VILLAGE Motor Company says that business has doubled since it won the BSI Kitemark four years ago.
The car garage in Wallasey was one of the UK’s first car dealers to be awarded the Kitemark, after strict vetting that assessed quality and customer service areas of the business.
These included:
• Customer service
• Customer satisfaction
• Customer facilities
• Workmanship quality
• Fair and clear billing
Achieving recognition in these areas has seen the car garage since accepted into the Wirral Trading Standards Fair Trading scheme.
General manager David Yeil said: ‘We applied for the BSI Kitemark as we recognised the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to provide quality service to consumers.
‘The changes that had to be implemented were clearly outlined so we were able to tackle them instantly, speeding up the process.
‘We have always worked hard to ensure that our customers receive the highest standards of service: the Kitemark was a way for us to demonstrate this.’
