Supercar Market Report
May 17th, 2010 by Richard Aucock
CLIVE SUTTON has launched his latest Market Report into the state of the supercar and luxury car market.
In it, he reports that values have recovered over the past year, following the nadir of late 2008 and early 2009.
It also includes detailed analysis of the UK’s top premium cars, focusing on model history, price trends and things to watch for.
New for this year are reports on Lamborghini, Maserati and Range Rover. They join existing brands Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls-Royce. These reports from the inaugural 2009 report have been updated to reflect the big changes in the market.
‘The recession has caused some major waves throughout the luxury car world,’ said Sutton. 2010’s upturn, he explained, has been caused ‘by a combination of scarcity of clean used cars and a range of new models, which are mostly available to order.
‘This is why the second edition of the Market Report is being launched now.’
Other insights include the effect on values of people handing onto their cars for longer as a result of the recession, and how servicing and repairs may have been neglected.
Those interested can download the Market Report for free from car dealer Clive Sutton’s website.
For a limited period, Sutton tells us, he is also offering a strictly limited edition printed and bound version of the Market Report. Intended for coffee table browsing,it costs £30 including UK P&P; again, details on the dealer website.
