Aviva’s courtesy car deal
September 1st, 2010 by Richard Aucock
DCML has signed an exclusive 3 year deal with Aviva insurance to provide day-rate cover for dealers.
The courtesy car and demonstrator fleet management specialist says the new insurance deal removes the risk to car dealer’s motor trade policies.
It is currently used on more than 26,500 car dealer demos and courtesy motors.
This, says Aviva spokesman Owen Thomas, provides a previously untapped profit stream to car dealers that more than 1000 franchises could tap into.
It is hosted as part of the firm’s Dealer Car Manager platform and is the latest development in a decade of partnership with Aviva.
‘Independent privately owned insurance broker Lockton Companies International advised, brokered and provided technical assistance to help make the deal happen.’
