Corsa UK’s top small car

VAUXHALL’S Corsa is the people’s choice for top supermini of all, reports a car review website.
The Vauxhall Corsa received 35 per cent of votes by readers of roadtestreports.co.uk.
Second place was the Honda Jazz – with, surprisingly, the nation’s current best-selling supermini, Ford’s Fiesta, coming in third.
However, it was the Corsa that took top overall slot in 2008, according to the SMMT. 99,574 were registered last year.
The site was keen to find out which supermini had genuinely earned its high sales figures.
Editor Faye Sunderland said: ‘We say time and time again, it is one thing to take a car on a test drive, it is quite another to live with a vehicle day in and day out as your main source of transportation.
‘It bodes well for Vauxhall, Honda and Ford to see that people don’t just buy these cars, but once they have them on the drive, that they are satisfied with their purchase.
‘The reviews of these vehicles by both our journalists and from our website visitors are glowing and speak highly of their good residuals, practicality and comfort.’
And happy drivers means happy car buyers, as dealers will only be too aware…
