Car dealer champions

300 Service Plan champions have been trained by The Warranty Group in quarter 3 alone.
The scheme follows a similar programme ran last year – which saw a sales increase of 400 percent!
Champions are specially trained to fully explain Service Plan benefits to customers. This approach gives car dealers the ability to fully explain the benefits, as a separate subject.
It helps overcome a stumbling block, says The Warranty Group’s Ian Simpson. They ‘do not always fit easily into the process that a dealer salesperson talks each customer through.’
Service Plans are really starting to take off, he added. ‘We expect them to be a major source of dealer profitability in 2010.’
But only if they are sold in the correct way. The Warranty Group says its special training scheme will see it easily beat last year’s total of 400 Service Plan Champions trained.
