Dealer supports BTCC

LIPSCOMB Abarth has hit the sharp end in the new Trofeo Abarth 500 series with two wins under its belt.
Former BTCC driver Gareth Howell is the car dealer’s driver and scored a double victory to kick off his title campaign.
The one-make race series uses 190bhp versions of the Abarth 500 hot hatch and marks its first year in the UK after successfully running in Europe last year.
‘It’s absolutely fantastic that Gareth is out in front and a dream start for Lipscomb Abarth,’ said Lipscomb Abarth dealer principal Mark Stevens.
‘It’s a fantastic race series with fiercely competitive, close racing – Gareth’s victories so far have seen him cross the finish line just seconds in front of his rivals.’
The team is now hoping Howell can mount a title charge in the series, which culminates in a massive take-on-all-comers event at Italy’s famed Monza F1 circuit!

Not anymore. After the Cadwell Park round the new leader is Charlie Bulter-Henderson, backed by Glyn Hopkin.

Thanks! We’ll have to contact Glyn Hopkin too. Met CB-H a while back: top guy, he is.
Richard.
