Dealer beats target
October 12th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
MAZDA dealer Glen Henderson opened its doors on September 1. By the end of the month, targets had been smashed.
The Ayr car dealer had sold 300 percent more cars than predicted!
It certainly took Scotland’s number 1 Mercedes aftersales customer satisfaction dealer by surprise. ‘We had to keen revising our business plan,’ said DP Calum Watson.
‘It’s been fantastic, way above my expectations. First month sales have kept our sales and aftersales team very busy.
‘Even more impressive was the fact that the sales came across the range, including Mazda MX-5, and not just from Mazda2 and Mazda3’
The car dealer has a 40-year history in Scotland, and wants to emulate its Mercedes success with Mazda. Watson seems pretty confident they’ll do so.
‘Mazda is a fantastic company to do business with and we’ve had a staggering first month from a standing start.’
Mind you, it’s part of a wider trend for Mazda in the UK. 11,140 sales gave the company its single best month in the UK since arriving here in the 1960s…
