Car Dealer footie record
April 10th, 2009 by Richard Aucock
DAIHATSU car dealer Conders Garage Ltd has supported a fundraising run by a children’s charity.
The Free Kicks Foundation raised over £3500 – by visiting all 92 English Football League clubs… in 92 hours!
Charity founder Steve Thorpe undertook the huge challenge, in a Daihatsu Materia loaned by the Peterborough car dealer.
Alastair Hayden from the car dealer revealed that ‘when Free Kicks approached us for a loan of a Daihatsu, we were only too pleased to help, and I am delighted they managed to raise more than their aim.’
The charity has been providing football related activities for ill, bereaved and disadvantaged children since 2007. Their aim is to give kids a memorable day with their favourite football club.
