Car dealer recession aid

DIRECT mail printing has just become a lot cheaper, with Paragon’s launch of a short-run service.
Paragon Services has developed the scheme to help car dealers cut costs, while maintaining important direct mail marketing.
The service is intended to help car dealers not just promote car sales, but aftersales offers such as tyres, valeting, MOTs and diagnostics.
It does this through an in-house design and print service, which can also distribute mailouts, too.
Indeed, it’s just invested big in new machinery, specifically targeted at short-run campaigns for car dealers. The firm also promises quick turnaround, thanks to new digital technologies.
Paragon’s customer services manager, Charles Lindley, said: ‘Although we are hearing reports of a downturn in the number of cars sold, we are working with our clients to provide fast and effective marketing materials, to remind people that car dealerships offer more than just cars.
‘The services that they provide are still in high demand, and we are hoping that they will benefit from using the techniques and experience that we can offer to directly and personally target their customers with this information.’
Interestingly, the company also revealed that alongside an existing contract with Vertu Motors and Inchcape, it’s just signed a new ‘multi-million pound contract’ to work with Pendragon.
