Car dealer foundation
PETER Vardy is continuing his mission of strong community support with the launch of a new youth fund.
The Peter Vardy Charitable Fund has thus been launched.
This has an initial fund of £100,000 – Vardy has pledged to give 10 percent of overall annual net profits to charitable causes. The PVCF is the first step in this honourable aim.
It will be used to support local youth projects; a board of trustees will meet regularly, to decide which communities across Scotland will benefit.
‘Launching this fund has been a major goal of mine since setting up the business in 2006,’ said Vardy.
‘One of the key objectives for the company from the on-set was to ensure we do things differently and make a genuine difference through what we do.
‘It’s a motivating factor for our entire team, knowing that the growth of the Fund will be linked to the success of the company.’
With seven new and used car dealerships across Scotland, Vardy will be hoping the success of BMW, MINI, Vauxhall and Chevrolet franchises lead to big gains for the foundation.
