BRISTOL Street Motors in Chingford has opened its doors to its newly-built Vauxhall Brand Centre.

Vertu Motors, the parent company of national brand Bristol Street Motors, has overseen the £5m investment in the two storey state-of-the art showroom located adjacent to the North Circular Road.

New jobs were created as part of the investment including parts advisors, technicians and sales executives. The new recruits will work alongside the existing Vauxhall business team, who have transferred from Gants Hill in Ilford.

The dealership is the first of Vauxhall’s new-look brand centres and one of eleven Vauxhall dealerships operated by Bristol Street Motors. The development is a modern, purpose built facility providing 2,111m² of floorspace, set over two floors.

The design of the showroom includes a heat recovery system, which provides a significant reduction in carbon emissions, and easily accessible electric vehicle charge points.

Robert Forrester, chief executive of Vertu Motors said: ‘We are extremely pleased with the completed brand centre. It has made a significant impact on the aesthetics of the area and we are committed to providing a quality and comprehensive service to the local area and surrounding region.’

Mark Brown, general manager at Bristol Street Motors Vauxhall in Chingford (pictured), said: ‘The site also houses a comprehensive Aftersales department which uses the latest vehicle diagnostic technology, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service.’
