Bangers4BEN: Team BEN crash!

BANGERS4BEN has suffered its first RTA, after a nasty-looking incident on challenging Scottish Highland roads.
First things first, nobody was injured. Just badly shaken up.
So, what happened? Well, the Tweets were flowing in triple time, as competitors came across the scene. There were already lots of people there, so many couldn’t actually stop and risk further danger.
Instead, Tweets such as ‘just passed the crash scene – looked nasty’ started concerning the rest of the teams. What had happened? Should they stop and convene? For a dreaded few minutes, nobody was quite sure.
Luckily, reassurance came from ToyotaPR. ‘Everyone was OK, they reported, ‘just a bit shaken up. We arrived just after it happened and helped clear up.’ Phew.
Alas, the car doesn’t look like a runner: headlights are both smashed for one thing. And, not only has it been icy and wet, it’s also now started snowing! The dramas really are building up there in Scotland.
Fortunately, there’s not far to go now, before the teams make their hotel for the night, and all settle down with a stiff drink. It sounds like it’s been a hectic day, alright.
